Applications in the prescribed format given below are invited from Indian Citizens and such other nationals as are declared eligible by Govt. of India for recruitment to the under mentioned permanent posts
  1. Medical Technologist (Laboratory), Grade – III: 30posts
    Qualification:
    Passed Higher Secondary Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two year Diploma Course in Laboratory Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal or one year Diploma Course in Laboratory Technology from any University/ Institution recognized by Government of West Bengal where basic qualification for undergoing the said Course is B.Sc.
    Desirable: a) One year training after acquiring Diploma in Laboratory Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal, in any Government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Clinical Establishment Rules, 2003 Or b) A Post-Graduate Diploma in Laboratory Technology from any recognized University.
  2. Medical Technologist (X-Ray), Grade – III: 23posts
    Qualification:
    Passed Higher Secondary Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two year Diploma Course in Radiography (Diagnostics) DRD (Tech.) recognized by the Government of West Bengal.
    Desirable: a) One year training after acquiring Diploma in Radiography (Diagnostics) DRD (Tech.) recognized by the Government of West Bengal, in any Government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Clinical Establishment Rules, 2003. Or b) A Post-Graduate Diploma in Radiography (Diagnostics) DRD (Tech.) from any recognized University
  3. Medical Technologist (ECG), Grade – III: 25posts Qualification: Passed Higher Secondary Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two year Diploma in ECG Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal
    Desirable: a) One year training after acquiring Diploma in ECG Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal, in any Government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Clinical Establishment Rules, 2003. Or b) A Post-Graduate Diploma in ECG Technology from any recognized University
  4. Physiotherapist, Grade – III: 11posts
    Qualification:
    Passed Higher Secondary Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent from any recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics and a two year Diploma course in Physiotherapy recognized by the Government of West Bengal
    Desirable: Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy Course recognized by the Government of West Bengal
  5. Pharmacist, Grade – III / Pharmacist-Cum-Salesman, Grade – III: 64posts
    Qualification:
    Passed Higher Secondary Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology and a two year Diploma Course in Pharmacy recognized by the Government of West Bengal and registered as ‘A’ category Pharmacist under West Bengal Pharmacy Council.
  6. Social Worker, Grade – III: 20posts
    Qualification:
    B.A. or B.Sc. and Diploma in Social Welfare and Health Education from a Government recognized Institute. Or Degree in Social Welfare and Health Education
Fee: Candidates must enclose with their application a fee of Rs.160/- (Rupees one hundred sixty) only by Indian Postal Order which must be purchased on a date after publication of this advertisement and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or by a receipted Challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. The Postal Orders should be made payable at G.P.O., Kolkata. Money Order, Cheque, Bank Draft, Cash etc. will not be accepted. No application will be considered unless accompanied with the requisite application fees. Candidates belonging to S.C./ S.T. of West Bengal and persons with disabilities specified under Persons With Disabilities Rules, 1999 are not required to pay any fee

How to apply: Applications should be sent to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, 161-A, S. P. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata – 700026 superscribing positively on the envelope “(i) Advertisement No. ,(ii) Item No. & (iii) Name of the post applied for” so as to reach the Commission’s Office on or before the closing date. Application may also be submitted personally between 11-00 a.m. and 3-30 p.m. on all working days to the above address of the Commission’s office
