Indian Overseas Bank, a leading Public Sector Bank with headquarters in Chennai having geographical presence all over India and abroad invites On-line applications from Indian Citizens for the post of Probationary Officers in Junior Management Grade Scale – I, who have taken the Common Written Examination (CWE) for Probationary Officers/Management Trainees conducted by IBPS in Sept / Nov 2011 and obtained a valid IBPS CWE-PO/MT-2011 Score Card and who meet the eligibility criteria mentioned in this notification below.
Probationary Officer (JMGS – I): 1500posts
Qualifications (As On 01.07.2011): i) Graduation from a recognized university/Institution with minimum 60% Marks. (For Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC category minimum 55% Marks) Graduation results should have been declared by the university/Institution on or before 01.07.2011. ii) Computer literacy shall be an essential qualification, which the candidate must either possess before or acquire within six months of joining the Bank. iii) Diploma in Banking & Finance (DBF) from Indian Institute Of Banking and Finance (IIBF) is a desirable qualification besides the above entry level qualification.
IBPS Score Requirement: Candidates should have obtained the valid IBPS CWE-PO/MT-2011 Score card, score in each test components and Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS) as mentioned below in the Common Written Examination conducted for POs/MTs in Sept / Nov 2011 by IBPS. Candidates should be able to produce the original IBPS CWE-PO/MT-2011 Score Card in support of the scores mentioned in the on-line application form, if called for Interview:
Common written examination: Test on Reasoning [TR], Test on English Language [EN], Test on Qualitative Aptitude [QA], Test on General Awareness [GA], Test on Computer Knowledge [CK] & Descriptive Paper on English [DP]
Category- Wise Individual Test Cut-Off: For General: 24 & above & for Reserved (SC/ST/OBC/PC): 21 & above
Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS): For General Category: TWS - Minimum 120 & For Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC/PC): TWS - Minimum 105
Application Fee / Postage Charges (Non Refundable): For SC/ST/ PC Rs.50/- & for all others (Including OBC) Rs.200/-
