3. Age limit as on last date of submission of application
(a) General (UR) : 18 to 25 Yrs

(d) Ex-Serviceman :18 to 25 Yrs + Service rendered in Army /Navy/Air Force +3 years
(e) Meritorious sportsperson (MSP) : 18 to 30 Yrs (upto 35 Yrs for members of SC)
(f) Physically Handicapped : 18 to 35 Yrs (upto 40 yrs for members of SC &38 years for OBC)

4. Qualification
(a) LDC
(i) 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recongnized university / Board.
(ii) Experience in handling of stores.
(d) Mazdoor, safaiwala and Messenger – Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recongnized university / Board.
(e) Fireman
(i) Matriculation.
(ii) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the test specified below ;
(aa) height without shoes – 165 cms provided that a concession of 2.5 cms height shall be allowed for members of the scheduled Trides.
(ab) chest (un – expanded ) – 81.5 cms
(ac) chest on expansion -85 cms
(ad) weight -50kgs (minimum )
(ae) Endurance Test;
(aaa) carrying a man ( fireman lift of 63.5 kg ) to a distance of 183 meters within 96 second
(aab) clearing 2.7 mtrs wide ditch and landing on both feet (long jump ).
(aac) climbing 3 bmeters of vertical rope using hands and feet.
(f) Cook
(i) Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recongnized university / Board.
(ii) Must have knowledge of india cooking and proficiency in trade.
(g) Tailor
Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized university/Board.
Certificate in trade of Tailor from ITI or equivalent diploma or a certificate from a recognized institute.
