APPSC is making preparations to issue another Group I notification in a month or two. Measures have been taken to recruit 232 group I posts in various departments. Apart from this APPSC is yet to receive information on the number of vacancies for the posts of Commercial Tax Officers, Asst Excise Superintendent and DSP.
APPSC is also planning to issue notification for the recruitment of candidates in Group II cadre. Though there are around 5000 vacancies in various departments, Govt is planning to recruit around 250 posts through APPSC.
