Applications are invited from eligible OBC and ST candidates for the post of Police Constable (Executive) in Andaman and Nicobar Police. The numbers of post scale of pay and eligibility conditions are given below:
Police Constable (Executive): 83posts
Qualification: 10+2 Pass from recognized Board/University
Minimum Physical Standards: for OBC Male candidates Height: 168 cm, Chest (Normal): 81 cm, Chest (Expanded): 85cm Weight: 50kg for ST Male candidates Height: 160 cm, Chest (Normal): 77 cm, Chest (Expanded): 81cm Weight: 47kg for OBC Female candidates Height: 155 cm, Weight: 45kg and for ST Female candidates Height: 148 cm, Weight: 42kg
Physical Endurance Test: The candidates who qualify after physical measurement shall undergo a physical endurance test as per the following standards: for male 1 mile race (to be completed in 7 minutes), 4 feet High Jump (3 chances will be given) 12 feet Long Jump (3 chances will be given) And for female 0.5 mile race to be completed in 5 minutes3 feet High Jump (3 chances will be Given). 8 feet Long Jump (3 chances will be given)
How to apply: Candidates may submit their application on a plain paper in the format given below along with the self attested copies of certificates of ac proof, ST/OBC category and education qualification with three passport size photographs (one should be affixed in the space given in the application form and other two should be attached along with application form) to any Police station of A&N Islands, Welfare Centre, Police Lines, Port Blair, Recruitment Cell, Police Head Quarter, Atlanta Point, Port Blair on any working day
