Lady Constable: 50posts Qualification: The applicant must have passed Madhyamik Examination under W.B.B.S.E or equivalent Physical eligibility: (a) For the post of Constable: (1) Minimum Height – 167 cms. (2) Minimum Chest – 78 cms. With minimum expansion of 5 cms by inhalation (3) Minimum Weight – Proportionate to height and age as per Medical standard For the post of lady constable: (1) Minimum Height – 160 cms. (2) Minimum Weight - Proportionate to height and age as per Medical standard Selection Procedure: For the post of Constable: 1600 mts. Run to be completed within 06 minutes and 30 seconds For the post of Lady Constable: 400 mts. Run to be completed within 02 minutes. Examination Fee (For all Posts): Non refundable Examination fee of Rs 150 /- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only) shall have to be paid through Postal Order or Demand Draft in favour of “Kolkata Police Recruitment Board” payable in Kolkata Scheduled Tribe & Scheduled caste candidates are exempted from Examination Fee How to apply: Format of application may be downloaded from Kolkata Police Website: www.kolkatapolice.gov.in Application form shall be printed on white A-4 size ‘Executive Bond paper’ only in the prescribed format.
