Application are invited from the outstanding sports man for the recruitment against sports Quota in Group ‘D’ category (in pay band 5200-20-200 with grade pay Rs.1800/-) by Lucknow Division of Northern Railway Lucknow. The recruitment will be done in following  games /Sports for men only

The sports persons fulfilling the following standards/qualification are eligible to apply.
Age limit:                                  Above 18 years and below 25 years as on 01.07.2012
Nationality:                              Indian only.
Educational Qualification: minnium 10 standards pass or equivaleant
Sports qualification:
Represented the country in any of the following Championship/event.
(1) commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior Category)
(2) Asian Championships/Asian Cup (Juniors/Senior Category)
(3) South Asian Federations(saf) Games (Senior category)
(4) USIC (World Railways) Championships (senior Category)
                                                              OR
At least 3rd Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)
                                                              OR
Represented a State or equivalent Unit, except in Marathon and Cross Country in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships.
                                                               OR
At least 3rd position in senior State Champion ships for all units and Districts of the state

Applications may be sent by post or in person to Divi. Sports Secy, Sports DRM Office Lucknow Between 2 PM tp 5 PM m amu working day from the date of publication. The last date of submission of the application will be 30.07.2012

2.       The number of vacancies mat be changed depending upon the availability of suitable candidates.
