Preferred Specification: Left Cover / All rounder / Left Corner/Right Corner/ Right Cover Qualification: Pass in XII Standard examination or equivalent from a recognized University/Board/Central/State/UT administration Or Degree in any discipline or its equivalent. Applicants should attach attested certificates / marks cards evidencing their educational qualification Sports Qualification: Should have represented the State in National event, or the District in State Level event with distinction, or the university in an Inter-university event with Distinction or if he was a member of the Combined universities Team. (Preference will be given to current State players).
Applicants should attach certificates awarded by the following authorities to evidence their credentials in respective game concerned:- Competition: International Competition
- Authority awarding Certificate: Secretary of National Federation of the Game concerned
- Competition: National Competition
- Authority awarding Certificate: Secretary of National Federation or Secretary of the State Association of the Game concerned
- Competition: Inter-University Tournaments
- Authority awarding Certificate: Dean of Sports or other Officer in overall charge of Sports of the University concerned
- Competition: National Sports Games for Schools
- Authority awarding Certificate: Director or Additional/Joint or Dy Director in overall charge of Sports / Games for Schools in the D.P.I / Education of the State
- Competition: Physical Efficiency Drive
- Authority awarding Certificate: Secretary or other Officer in overall charge of Physical Efficiency in the Ministry of Education and Social Welfare, Govt of India
Application fee/Postage Charges: Application fee: Rs.250/- Postage Charges: Rs. 50/-and Rs.300/- (SC/ST candidates should pay only Rs.50/- towards postage charges) should be sent by Demand Draft/Pay Order/Bankers Cheque favouring “Vijaya Bank, Recruitment (Sportsmen) Project, 2011” payable at Bangalore only. It must be purchased on or after the date of advertisement but on or before the last date stipulated for submission of application. Cash/Cheques/Money Orders/ Postal Stamps/Postal Orders, etc., will not be accepted. Candidate’s name and date of birth should be written on the reverse of the demand draft/pay order. Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and fee once paid, will not be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
